The Noorth line inspired by the comforting world of the Japanese bathroom is characterised by harmoniously balanced shapes and materials: the washbasins and the bathtub evolve from a circular top part and then widen until they form a square shape on the bases, the wooden tops recall the soft shapes of large pebbles smoothed by the flow of water, the screens with vertical strips can be placed in the room as needed; made with sliding doors, they thus become theatre wings.
For Roma collection, Studio Lievore Altherr reinterpreted the great culture of Mediterranean architecture. The stone becomes protagonist of the line, recalling many buildings of the ancient Rome. For the Romans the bath was a ritual, a moment of serenity and relax. On this coexistence between inspirations – the grandeur of spaces and the pleasure of ablution – Lievore Altherr designed the series Rome, centering the collection on a cylindrical vertical sink.
